Cenveo, a leading North American envelope manufacturer, is hiring Experienced Envelope Machine Adjusters for our Kent, WA facility for 2nd & 3rd shifts. Expertise in machine setup, troubleshooting, changeovers, and operation of multiple machine types in the envelope industry. Consistently delivers safe, high-quality, and efficient production while maximizing equipment performance and output.
Schedule & Pay
- Hourly Rate: $24.06/hr or higher (based on experience) + applicable shift premium
- Shift Differentials: 2nd shift - $0.75/hr / 3rd shift - $1.50/hr
- Schedule: Monday – Friday; Saturdays required during peak production/business needs
- Training is typically on 1st shift: 6:30am – 2:30pm; may vary by availability
- Available Shifts: 2:30pm – 10:30pm / 10:30pm – 6:30am
What You'll Do
- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, optimize high-speed envelope converting equipment
- Perform machine troubleshooting, job changeovers, and preventive maintenance
- Ensure product quality through in-process inspections and adherence to established standards.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records while following all safety policies and procedures.
- Support operational success through cross-training, coverage, other production-related functions.
- Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of direct envelope manufacturing experience
- Experience adjusting highspeed envelope converting machines (W&D preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with complex machine setup, changeovers, and preventive maintenance
- Knowledge of gears, pneumatics, hydraulics, and vacuum systems
- Ability to read a ruler, perform basic math, and use basic computer systems
- Flexibility to work various machines and shifts
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 55 lbs.
- Comfortable working around high-speed production equipment, noise, and manufacturing materials.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and remain alert throughout the shift.
