Job Title: Project Manager – Manufacturing

Location: Whitsett, NC 27377
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential for Permanent Hire)
Pay Rate: $40/hour on W2
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to lead projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards. The role involves managing new product introductions (NPI), manufacturing transfers, automation, capacity expansion, and process improvement initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional and global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead manufacturing projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate NPI, manufacturing readiness, production ramp-ups, and equipment implementation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and global teams.
• Track project milestones, KPIs, costs, quality, and delivery performance.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of manufacturing experience.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing NPI, automation, capacity expansion, or process improvement projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and risk management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.
• MBA or Master's degree preferred.
