Are you the kind of finance professional who enjoys getting the numbers right but also sees opportunities to make the reporting process better?
A privately held, global manufacturing and distribution company is looking for someone who brings both strengths. As part of a small corporate finance team, you'll play a hands-on role in consolidating financial results across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, turning complex information into clear, reliable reporting and analysis for senior leadership and the parent company.
What sets this role apart is the opportunity to do more than maintain existing reports. The team values people who ask good questions, embrace new tools, and find practical ways to streamline manual work, improve analytics, and make financial information more useful. It's a strong fit for someone with solid accounting and global reporting experience who also enjoys technology and continuous improvement.
This direct-hire position is hybrid-onsite 3 days per week in Horsham, PA.
The Role You'll Play
You will be a key hands-on contributor to monthly and quarterly global reporting, partnering with regional finance teams and corporate leadership. The opportunity combines the accounting discipline needed for accurate consolidations with the curiosity to streamline reporting workflows and build more useful analytics.
Prepare and analyze monthly global financial consolidations across Americas, EMEA, and APAC, including foreign-currency effects.
Gather, validate, and reconcile financial information from regional teams and prepare corporate and parent-company reporting packages.
Contribute to board presentations, management commentary, financial statements, and annual audit support.
Analyze regional and consolidated performance, helping explain variances, profitability drivers, and operating trends.
Support forecasting cycles and business reviews through data collection, reporting, and financial analysis.
Use financial systems and analytics tools, including OneStream, Power BI, and Dynamics 365, to produce and improve reports.
Identify manual or outdated processes and introduce practical improvements through automation, self-service reporting, and appropriate AI tools.
Collaborate with global colleagues and external auditors while maintaining reliable reporting and sound controls.
Background Profile:
The strongest candidate is a financial reporting professional who has personally worked through consolidations, not just reviewed the final output. You understand accounting principles and global business complexity, but you also naturally experiment with tools and processes to make reporting more effective.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 5+ years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience.
Hands-on preparation of consolidated financial results and reporting, ideally involving international entities and foreign currencies.
Solid GAAP financial reporting knowledge, strong financial analysis, and the ability to explain results to business stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills and practical experience creating reports or analyses in a BI/reporting platform; Power BI or a comparable tool is relevant.
Comfort working in ERP and consolidation platforms and the aptitude to learn new systems quickly.
Demonstrated initiative in improving a reporting process, automating manual work, or introducing a better analytical approach.
Ability to work independently in a small team and collaborate effectively with international finance partners.
Public accounting experience, CPA/CA, manufacturing exposure, and familiarity with D365, OneStream, or Microsoft Copilot are valued differentiators.
