Service Writer

The Service Writer supports an appliance sales and service operation by advising walk-in and phone customers, coordinating fleet accounts, and serving as the connection between customers, technicians, and the Shop Owner. This role manages service scheduling, parts coordination, warranty processing, and invoice review to help ensure efficient, accurate repairs and a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise walk-in and phone customers regarding appliance service needs.
• Coordinate technicians and support efficient repair workflows.
• Schedule repairs and manage service appointments.
• Coordinate parts needed for appliance repairs.
• Review invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Process warranty claims and related documentation.
• Coordinate service needs for fleet accounts.
• Report to and collaborate with the Shop Owner.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience.

Small Family owned appliance store. Servicing and Selling used appliances.
