Our client is seeking a Project Director to provide executive-level leadership across large, complex construction projects. This role is ideal for a proven operations leader who has successfully directed project teams on major commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center projects valued at $100M+.
This position goes well beyond traditional project management. The Project Director will oversee multiple projects and project teams, drive operational performance, maintain executive-level client relationships, and assume accountability for financial results across a significant project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple project teams across large-scale construction projects
- Provide strategic oversight for projects exceeding$100M in value
- Drive project profitability, forecasting, and overall P& L performance
- Develop and mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and field leadership
- Maintain executive-level relationships with clients, owners, and key stakeholders
- Partner with estimating, engineering, safety, procurement, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Support manpower planning, succession planning, and organizational growth
- Identify and pursue opportunities for repeat business and project expansion
- 10+ years of progressive construction leadership experience
- Experience managing large commercial, industrial, electrical, mission-critical, or data center projects
- Demonstrated oversight of projects valued at $100M+
- Track record of leading multiple Project Managers and cross-functional teams
- Strong financial acumen with ownership of project budgets, forecasting, and profitability
- Experience managing client relationships at the executive level
- Ability to influence strategy, operations, and organizational performance
