Senior Systems Engineer – Electro-Mechanical Devices

Pay Rate: $60+.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in electro-mechanical devices, system testing, and verification and validation (V&V). The ideal candidate will develop test methods, analyze system performance, troubleshoot hardware/software interactions, and ensure products meet technical and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute system test plans, test protocols, and verification/validation activities.
• Perform Test Method Validation (TMV), Design of Experiments (DoE), and Python-based data analysis.
• Acquire and analyze digital sensor data and troubleshoot system-level issues.
• Design test fixtures and setups for electro-mechanical system testing.
• Manage requirements, risk, configuration, and defect tracking.
• Maintain requirements traceability and prepare technical reports documenting test results.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of systems engineering experience with electro-mechanical devices.
• Experience in test method development, TMV, DoE, and Python-based analysis.
• Knowledge of sensor data acquisition, system testing, and V&V.
• Experience with requirements management and defect tracking.
  

Preferred: Medical device or other regulated-industry experience, FDA/ISO/IEC standards, and tools such as DOORS, Jira, or RETINA.
