Job Summary
We’re looking for a dependable Rental Yard Worker to support our team at a fast-paced equipment rental yard. This role is essential in keeping all tools and equipment maintained, organized, and ready for use. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and motivated to grow within an established company that values hands-on work and teamwork.
What You’ll Do
- Load, unload, and organize rental equipment in the yard
- Inspect equipment before and after use for damage or missing parts
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning on equipment
- Assist mechanics, drivers, and customers as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with industrial/construction tools preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
