Insight Global is seeking a Systems Project Engineer to support the development and execution of complex defense systems. This individual will serve as a technical leader across multidisciplinary engineering teams, helping drive systems from planning and development through integration, test, and delivery.
The Systems Project Engineer will bridge the gap between engineering execution and program management, ensuring technical activities remain aligned with program requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, and customer commitments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate technical execution across Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Test Engineering teams
- Drive technical activities through system development, integration, verification, and delivery
- Coordinate technical requirements, interfaces, dependencies, schedules, and engineering deliverables
- Lead resolution of cross-functional technical and program execution issues
- Manage engineering risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies
- Monitor program cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Support Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and execution
- Manage engineering work packages within an EVMS environment
- Analyze program performance and support variance analysis and corrective actions
- Support EAC development, forecasting, and resource planning
- Lead technical reviews and communicate program status to engineering leadership, Program Management, and customers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Project Engineering, or technical program experience
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams
- Experience supporting development and integration of complex engineered systems
- Experience driving technical scope, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Working knowledge of EVMS and IMS
- Active DoD Secret clearance
