Production Operator - Contract To Hire A company in the energy renewable industry is seeking a dedicated Production Operator in the area of Pendergrass, GA. This role is essential in ensuring efficient operation of automated pack assembly lines, contributing to a company known for its commitment to quality and innovation in manufacturing.
Pay Rate of the Production Operator: $21.00 - $25.00/hr
Schedule/Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Responsibilities of the Production Operator:- Operate automated production equipment in accordance with SOPs and standardized work instructions.
- Perform material loading/unloading, barcode scanning, and basic assembly tasks.
- Record production data accurately, including output, downtime, and abnormalities.
- Monitor equipment status during operation, perform basic troubleshooting for minor issues, and escalate unresolved problems promptly.
- Conduct basic in-process self-inspection (appearance, labeling, and assigned checks).
Qualifications of the Production Operator:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing experience preferred (automated line experience is a plus).
- Ability to follow SOPs and standardized work instructions consistently.
- Basic ability to identify and report equipment abnormalities.
- Strong attention to detail, discipline, and safety awareness.
