Job Description
TheInventory /Cherry Picker Forklift Operator. This position is responsible for operating a cherry picker/order picker, accurately moving cases of product throughout the warehouse, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are properly picked, staged, stored, and prepared for distribution.
The ideal candidate will have previouscherry picker experience, strong attention to detail, and experience working with inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate aCherry Picker / Order Pickerto retrieve, move, and store cases of product.
Move cases between warehouse locations based on inventory and operational needs.
Pick and stage cases accurately for customer orders and outbound shipments.
Performinventory controlfunctions, including verifying product quantities and warehouse locations.
Assist withcycle counts, inventory counts, and stock reconciliation.
Identify and report inventory shortages, overages, damaged products, and location discrepancies.
UseRF scanners and warehouse systemsto scan, track, and update inventory.
Verify product numbers, quantities, labels, and locations before moving inventory.
Replenish picking locations and relocate inventory as needed.
Assist with shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and case movement.
Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures while operating powered equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Meet productivity and accuracy expectations in a fast-paced alcohol distribution environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
PreviousCherry Picker / Order Picker experience required.
PreviousInventory Control or warehouse inventory experience preferred.
Experience moving and handling cases in a distribution or warehouse environment.
Ability to operate RF scanners and other warehouse equipment.
Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
Ability to identify product numbers, locations, and quantities accurately.
Ability to work independently and as part of a warehouse team.
Dependable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, and move cases throughout the shift.
Must follow all company and warehouse safety requirements.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cases of product as required
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift
Comfortable working at elevated heights while operating cherry picker equipment
Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with frequent movement and equipment traffic
