This temp-to-hire Production Worker opportunity provides a path to join a great company while earning weekly pay, working with a friendly team, receiving fully paid on-the-job training, and enjoying no Sunday work. Employees monitor plastic molding machines, inspect finished products, trim excess plastic, complete forms, count items, and pack parts for shipment. Shifts are Monday through Friday: 2nd shift, 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.; or 3rd shift, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. No prior warehouse experience is required, and employees may progress from operating one press to managing four or five presses based on performance and production needs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate assigned plastic molding machines.
- Progress from one press to four or five presses as training, performance, and production needs allow.
- Inspect finished products for damage, defects, scratches, and other quality issues.
- Detect and remove defective parts from the production line.
- Trim excess plastic from molded parts.
- Count items accurately and pack parts safely into shipping boxes.
- Complete required forms and production documentation.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing production.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, factory, assembly line, or order-packing environment.
- Strong attention to detail when identifying product defects.
- Ability to follow simple written instructions or step-by-step assembly guides.
- Interest in learning a trade and advancing into roles such as Mold Set-Up Technician, Quality Inspector, or Shift Lead.
- Demonstrated leadership potential or interest in progressing into technical roles.
