What You’ll Do
- Warmly greet guests as they arrive and provide a friendly, welcoming first impression.
- Offer seating options, escort guests to their tables, and present menus.
- Help maintain an efficient dining room flow while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Keep the dining room clean and organized by bussing tables and arranging place settings.
- Accept and record reservations and coordinate seating arrangements for special functions.
- Communicate with restaurant team members to help ensure smooth service.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
What You Need
- Must have the ability to communicate in English.
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Can communicate well with guests.
- Ability to comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations, promotional materials, event orders and similar written materials.
- Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests.
- Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive and proactive solutions.
- Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
- Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
- Ability to operate keyboard and tablet to manage reservations.
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and customers.
