Manage software and data configuration management activities for the Visual Team and MEET, ensuring accurate version control, traceability, and configuration integrity utilizing the JIRA CM tool.
Coordinate the receipt, validation, organization, and maintenance of flight simulation databases, visual and terrain data, updated simulation models, and associated software deliverables.
Prepare, package, and distribute approved software releases, complete OTW databases, updated models, and data products to local and remote projects in accordance with project requirements and established configuration management procedures.
Maintain configuration records, release documentation, revision histories, and distribution logs to ensure delivered software and data are properly identified, controlled, and traceable to specific versions and projects.
Coordinate with software developers, database engineers, modelers, and project personnel to resolve configuration discrepancies, verify release contents, and ensure timely delivery of accurate, approved simulation products.
