Traffic Control Supervisor

We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Traffic Control Supervisor to lead our field crews and oversee traffic control operations. As our Traffic Control Supervisor, you’ll take charge of critical traffic management tasks to ensure the safety of both the public and our crews. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, setting up, and maintaining safe traffic control zones, lane closures, and detours in compliance with state and local regulations.
• Supervising and directing flagging operations and field crews on active roadways.
• Conducting daily safety briefings (tailgate meetings) and enforcing proper PPE and safety protocols.
• Inspecting work zones regularly to ensure compliance with standards, optimal visibility, and overall safety.
• Coordinating effectively with site managers, inspectors, and local authorities to ensure smooth operations.

We’re seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and skills:

• At least 1 year of experience in traffic control or a related field.
• Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate field crews.
• Knowledge of state and local traffic control regulations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• A commitment to safety and attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
