Safe Forklift Operation
Operate equipment only after completing company training and OSHA certification (29 CFR 1910.178).
Inspect your equipment before every shift, and tag out and report any defects.
Drive safely: control your speed, keep loads low, sound the horn at corners and doorways, and back up when a load blocks your view.
Always watch for pedestrians, never exceed the truck’s rated capacity, and never carry riders.
Park with forks lowered, brake set and power off, and follow proper battery and propane procedures.
