Freight Dock Loader/Unloader

Step onto a busy dock where every package matters. Your shift kicks off with a quick scan of the day’s outbound and inbound schedules. From there, you’ll move with purposebundling items for safe travel, loading outbound shipments, and clearing inbound trailers so goods can flow into the warehouse without delay.

• Start on outbound: Bundle packages prior to loading, confirm labels, and load packaged shipments onto shipping trucks.
• Move with the right tools: Operate hand trucks to position and load individual packages safely and efficiently.
• Switch to inbound: Unload incoming shipments from trucks and transport them to designated warehouse areas.
• Keep the records straight: Log inventory and record changes to scheduled shipments as they happen.
• Care for the space: Handle general warehouse maintenance to keep aisles clear and equipment ready.

• Physical stamina: You’re comfortable with a hands-on role that involves standing, lifting, and moving throughout the shift.
• Attention to detail: You notice label mismatches, count discrepancies, and scheduling updatesand you capture them accurately.
