Wood Shop Helper - 1st Shift
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Wood Shop Helper to join our team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone interested in woodworking and manufacturing. No experience is required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the production and assembly of wood products
- Operate saws, planer machines, and other woodworking equipment safely
- Measure, cut, sand, and finish materials according to specifications
- Move, load, and unload materials throughout the shop
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and work instructions
- Assist team members with general shop duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Woodworking, manufacturing, or construction experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to use basic hand tools and read a tape measure
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
