Maintenance Technician - Direct Hire
Arcadia, WI 54612
A client of ours, an established manufacturer in the food, health, and nutrition industry, is urgently hiring a Maintenance Technician to support production, facility, and wastewater treatment equipment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on manufacturing maintenance experience, particularly in electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, and preventive maintenance.
Pay and Schedule
- Day shift: 3:45 AM to 4:00 PM
- Rotating 2-2-3 schedule
- Pay: $28-34hr
What You Will Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Maintain pumps, pneumatic controls, valves, agitators, seals, and motor bearings
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, including PLCs and electrical panels
- Diagnose equipment issues using blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs
- Install and overhaul equipment and fabricate or rebuild parts
- Follow safety procedures, standard operating procedures, and applicable quality and regulatory requirements
What You Bring
- Vocational or associate degree in an electrical or maintenance-related field, or a high school diploma with at least 4 years of electrical and/or maintenance experience
- Manufacturing plant maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with electrical systems and PLCs
- Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
