Machine Operator – 1st & 2nd Shift (Flexographic / Delta)

Pay Rate: $20–$30/hour + 10% Shift Differential for 2nd Shift
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team in Saint Paul, MN. Multiple openings are available for Flexographic Printing Machine Operators and Delta Machine Operators on 1st and 2nd shifts.
Ideal candidates will have experience in machine setup, operation, die cutting, printing, quality control, and general manufacturing processes.
Available Positions & Shifts
1. Flexographic Machine Operator – 1st Shift
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Pay: $22–$30/hour
- Minimum 3 years of non-CNC machine operating experience
- Flexographic printing experience preferred
2. Flexographic Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM
- Pay: $22–$30/hour + 10% shift differential
- Minimum 3 years of machine operating experience
- Minimum 1 year of flexographic printing experience required
3. Delta Machine Operator – 1st Shift
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Pay: $20–$30/hour
- Minimum 1 year of machine operating experience
- Minimum 1 year of die-cutting experience required
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing and printing equipment.
- Perform machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
- Operate flexographic printing presses or Delta converting machines.
- Perform die cutting, slitting, laminating, and material handling as applicable.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
- Read and follow work instructions, CAD drawings, and production specifications.
- Maintain accurate production records and quality documentation.
- Minimize material waste and maximize production efficiency.
- Follow safety procedures and Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Machine operating experience in a manufacturing or printing environment.
- Die-cutting experience required for Delta Machine Operator positions.
- Flexographic printing experience required for the 2nd Shift Flexographic position.
- Knowledge of printing inks, color registration, and printing plates is a plus.
- Ability to use measuring tools, including calipers.
- Basic computer and mathematical skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
