Peli Biothermal designs, manufactures and services the packaging solutions that protect the medicines that save lives. Every day, countless treatments need to be transported to those that need them. A single dose may cost over $100,000 and be someone’s last hope of beating a terrible illness. As they travel, by road and air, these medicines need to be kept safe and at very precise temperatures. Their journeys might take them from dry heat in India, to frozen conditions in Iceland. It’s our job to ensure they remain safe, effective and ready to save lives – no matter the conditions.
Job Overview:- 3rd shift schedule: 11pm-7:30am Sunday-Thursday
- Training: will train on 1st shift for the first few weeks, either 5:30am-2pm or 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
- Pay: $21/hr
- Long term with potential for temporary to hire
What You'll Do: As a Machine Operator, you'll play a vital role in our production process. You'll operate and maintain machinery, ensuring we produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating automatic and semi-automatic equipment.
- Setting up tooling and performing basic equipment repairs.
- Troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Inspecting products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Following all safety procedures.
What You'll Need:- 1-2 years of recent experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Machine setup and calibration experience
- Ability to work efficiently and meet production standards.
- Ability to learn and cross-train on a variety of machines.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Steel-toe shoes required
