Account Supervisor

North Carolina’s premier media company, Our State, located in North Carolina, is seeking an Account Supervisor who will play a critical role within our fast-paced advertising sales team.

Our State is looking for an accomplished, driven Account Supervisor to join our advertising sales team and play an important role in growing revenue across print, digital, social, and events.

This is not a transactional sales position. It is an opportunity for an experienced sales professional who knows how to open doors, build relationships, uncover opportunities, develop solutions, and close business.

You’ll work directly with businesses, agencies, and organizations to understand what they are trying to accomplishand then develop creative marketing solutions that help them reach their goals.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Drive new business and grow revenue across multiple platforms.
• Prospect strategically, develop leads, and build a strong pipeline.
• Develop and execute sales strategies that deliver against revenue goals.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and agencies.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts while continually pursuing new business.
• Present integrated marketing solutions tailored to each client's objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to bring ideas to life and deliver an exceptional client experience.
• Stay ahead of changing media, marketing, and customer trends to uncover new opportunities.

We’re looking for a proven sales professional.

You’ve demonstrated that you can win new business, grow revenue, negotiate, close, and build relationships that last. You’re confident in front of a client, curious about their business, and skilled at turning a conversation into an opportunity.

You’re also someone who:

• Is driven by results and energized by the pursuit of new business.
• Thinks strategically rather than simply selling a predetermined product.
• Understands how digital and traditional media can work together.
• Is persuasive, resourceful, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
• Works independently while being a collaborative member of a team.
• Is motivated by the opportunity to build somethingnot simply maintain an existing book of business.

3–5 years of successful sales experience is preferred, particularly in advertising, media, marketing, or a related field. A demonstrated record of new business development, revenue growth, and closing sales is essential. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
