Maintenance Associate

Reports to: Director of Manufacturing
Schedule: Monday through Thursday 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, Friday 6:30 am to 11:00 am

As a family-run company, we’ve been building quality upholstered furniture since 2003, and we’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Associate to keep our plant running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily plant start-up, including equipment start-up and pre-shift checks
- Complete daily and preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Diagnose equipment issues and complete timely repairs
- Maintain electrical components, including lighting
- Handle general facilities upkeep throughout the plant
- Perform occasional welding as needed
- Build and repair carpentry items, including workstations used throughout the plant
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal departments and external vendors
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, mechanical, or industrial experience preferred
- Working knowledge of electrical systems and basic troubleshooting preferred
- Welding and carpentry skills preferred
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow safety procedures
- Valid driver’s license required for maintenance runs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as a team with Associates across the department and factory
- Willingness to communicate new ideas and suggestions
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
