We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our growing commercial construction team. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule objectives are achieved. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong relationships, and is committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from award through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure milestones and completion dates are achieved.
- Oversee project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Lead project planning, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and owner communication.
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Manage change orders, requests for information (RFIs), submittals, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with superintendents, estimators, subcontractors, architects, and owners to ensure project success.
- Identify and proactively resolve project challenges and risks.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Experience with project management software, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Ground-up commercial construction.
- Industrial, warehouse, tilt-wall, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, or office projects.
- Design-build and negotiated project delivery methods.
- OSHA 30 certification.
