Datacenter Technician

Job description:

Insight Global is hiring 10 Data Center Technicians to join a cabling team here in the Des Moines metro.

Responsibilities:
Prepares, stages, sets up, and performs startups and shutdowns (e.g., racks, hard drives, switches) according to specific instructions provided via checklists, guides, and standard protocols.
Applies advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting expertise to quickly identify the cause(s) of issues.
Decommissions hardware for complex changes and/or systems with complex interactions (e.g., upgrading entire racks) following standard procedures.

Required:

• 6+ months of experience in a data center environment cabling/troubleshooting OR IT Support experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM-4PM (standard 40 hour)

Compensation:

$23/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
