JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are adding to a large team of Field Service Engineers to support a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer. This role will focus on assembling and installing new equipment at customer locations, using standard operating procedures along with strong mechanical and electrical skills to complete system hook-ups and ensure functionality. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining or repairing equipment, be comfortable using common hand tools, and have a solid understanding of electro-mechanical systems. This position requires working in a cleanroom environment (including wearing PPE and a bunny suit), travel (90–100%), and the ability to support equipment as needed throughout the installation process
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years of experience with hands on maintenance or repairing equipment or machinery
- Experience working with various mechanical hand tools (torque wrenches, socket sets, pliers, screwdrivers, measuring and inspection tools, etc)
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems
- Prior experience utilizing some PPE (masks, gloves, safety glasses, etc) and openness to wearing a fab bunny suit daily
- High School Diploma
- Flexible to 90-100% travel for the first year for training - (Home every 4th week)
- Ability to pass background check and drug test, and to be badged at TSMC
- Valid Driver's License
