Job Title: Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Baton Rouge, LA – 100% in office
Compensation: $18.00–$24.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of approximately 1,200–1,500 invoices monthly, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, purchase order matching, and compliance with company policies.
- Process vendor payments and maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and research and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end close activities and accounts payable reporting.
- Respond to vendor and internal team inquiries regarding invoices and payment status.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the accounting team.
Requirements:
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Excel PivotTables and VLOOKUPs is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-service-oriented approach.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow established procedures.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
