Forklift Operator / Material Handler - 2nd Shift

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Forklift Operators / Material Handlers to join our growing warehouse and production team in Provo, UT. This is more than just a forklift role. Team members play an essential part in maintaining a safe, clean, and productive facility while supporting warehouse operations, inventory management, and production activities. Shift & Pay
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday
- Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Starting Pay: $19.50 per hour
- Overtime: Up to 20 hours per week available
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct daily forklift safety inspections before operation
- Check fluid levels, including oil, water, and fuel, prior to operating equipment
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility
- Remove palletized bags from production lines and place them on stretch-wrapping equipment
- Operate stretch wrappers and replace stretch film as needed
- Place finished products into inventory while ensuring proper organization and storage
- Ensure packaging lines are supplied with empty pallets and communicate pallet inventory needs to management
- Stack 40-pound bags onto pallets and assist with pallet wrapping
- Perform material handling duties to support production and warehouse operations
- Maintain warehouse organization through proper storage and inventory placement
- Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of products throughout the facility
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, shoveling, and taking out trash
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required
- Material handling or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and adhere to safety standards
- Ability to lift and stack 40-pound bags consistently throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Comfortable performing both forklift and general labor duties
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift
- Work indoors and outdoors in various environmental conditions
- Perform physically demanding warehouse and material handling tasks
