Food Safety Quality Associate -- Entry Level

Mincing Spice Company is a leading processor of spices, seeds, and aromatic herbs, located in the Dayton section of South Brunswick Township, New Jersey. We are seeking an entry level QA Associate for the Quality Assurance team, supporting food safety and quality assurance programs and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Complete customer document requests (questionnaires, technical documents, i.e., specifications, COAs (certificates of authenticity), Letter of Guarantees, Statements, etc.)

· Create and verify accuracy of product labels and related QA paperwork

· Communicate with Customer Service about sales notes, issues and items needing attention

· Utilize the SAGE X3 ERP System for product information, checking order status, lot and inventory tracking, and printing labels

· Reconcile and approve 3rd party lab and vendor invoices

· Cross-train with other Food Quality staff

Requirements:

· A four-year degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or other technical field is preferred

· Manufacturing experience ideally with food is a plus

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Acrobat Professional, etc.)

· Experience with food safety and Safe Quality Food (SQF) program a plus

· SAGE X3 or other ERP system experience a plus

· Tracegains or Document Compliance Network experience a plus

Skills:

· Detail oriented is required

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Computer savvy

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
