Capital Project Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Capital Project Engineer to plan, support, and execute engineering deliverables for core technology and manufacturing systems. In this role, you will develop and apply engineering standards, manage capital project lifecycles from design to start-up, and provide technical expertise to solve complex manufacturing equipment challenges.

• Plan, design, estimate time and costs, and oversee the construction, maintenance, and execution of facilities, systems, and components.

• Analyze manufacturing equipment and system issues, determine root causes of failures, and develop practical engineering solutions.

• Lead equipment specifications, procurement, and the development, review, and awarding of bid packages for equipment and labor.

• Coordinate staffing, construction, commissioning, and start-up plans for capital projects.

• Informally lead, mentor, and coach early-career engineers through hands-on training and project work.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum of 4 years of related engineering and project work experience.

• Demonstrated ability to execute large capital projects or a portfolio of projects.

• Previous experience working within chemical, food processing, or related manufacturing industries.
