Network Automation

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement network automation solutions for enterprise and data center networks.
• Build and maintain Network Source of Truth (NSoT) platforms using NetBox or Nautobot.
• Develop automation workflows using Python, Ansible, REST APIs, and other automation frameworks.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform and Git-based workflows.
• Automate network provisioning, configuration management, compliance validation, and operational tasks.
• Integrate networking platforms with monitoring, asset management, and orchestration tools.
• Develop reusable automation modules, templates, and scripts for network lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with network architects, engineers, and infrastructure teams to standardize and automate network operations.
• Troubleshoot and optimize automation solutions, APIs, and network services.
• Maintain documentation, coding standards, and automation best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 7 years of experience in Network Engineering.
• 3 years of hands-on experience in Network Automation.
• Strong knowledge of Routing and Switching technologies.
• Expertise in:
  • BGP
  • OSPF
  • TCP/IP
  • VLANs
  • MPLS
  • Data Center Networking

• Hands-on experience with:
  • NetBox and/or Nautobot
  • Python
  • Ansible
  • REST APIs
  • Git/GitOps
  • Terraform

• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Experience working with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or multi-vendor network environments.
