RN Cardiac Med/Surg

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience
• Cardiac unit specialty experience required
• Active Illinois RN license in good standing
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based nursing care to cardiac Med-Surg patients.
• Assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and monitor outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and promote patient safety.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
