What You Will Do

Design and build network automation frameworks for provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management
Develop production-quality software and automation primarily in Python
Build APIs, services, and self-service networking tools
Automate network deployment and configuration using Ansible, Terraform, and Jinja2
Integrate network automation into CI/CD pipelines
Contribute to architecture and system design decisions
Build observability and telemetry solutions for network performance and availability
Partner with Network Engineering, Platform Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure teams
Support incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements
Identify manual processes and build software-driven solutions to eliminate operational toil

Required Qualifications

5 years of software engineering, network automation, or related engineering experience
Strong hands-on Python programming skills
Strong software engineering fundamentals including testing, version control, code review, and CI/CD
Experience building network automation tools, services, or platforms
Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, load balancing, routing, switching, and network security
Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jinja2, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools
Experience with API design and service integrations
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, security, fault tolerance, and observability
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership in a fast-moving environment
