You’ll meet and greet guests when they arrive and leave, bring luggage to guest rooms, support the front desk staff, and assist guests as needed to ensure that when they leave, they’re already looking forward to their next stay. Compensation:$17 hourly
Responsibilities:- Attend to guests when they arrive and leave the hotel
- Help the front desk staff with check-in and guest requests
- Perform other hotel services as assigned and respond to guest requests as necessary, such as delivering mail and food to guest’s rooms, taking laundry service, making sure public areas are clean, and checking the guest’s luggage for storage
- Carry luggage for guests from their vehicle up to their room in a safe and professional way
- Make sure the bell desk is always neat and tidy
- Guest Transport: Drive guests safely and courteously to local attractions, businesses, or transit hubs.
- Customer Service: Greet arriving and departing guests warmly, answer local area questions, and offer directions.
- Luggage Assistance: Help guests load, unload, and carry luggage or specialized equipment.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily safety inspections, clean the vehicle interior/exterior, and report mechanical issues.
- Record Keeping: Track daily mileage, fuel usage, and passenger counts.
- Driver’s License: Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record and no major violations.
- Age Requirements: Minimum age of 21 or 25 years old (often mandated by commercial vehicle insurance policies).
- Physical Standards: Ability to sit for long periods and lift heavy luggage up to 50 pounds.
- Screenings: Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.
- Interpersonal Skills: Professional communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
