Principal Program Manager (IT Infrastructure)

Location: Oakland, CA

Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid

• Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension depending on portfolio need and scope changes)
• Pay Rate: $45–$50 / Year (USD)

Within the Clean Energy Transportation (CET) organization, the EV Customer Programs (EVCP) team develops, launches, and operates EV-related programs to help accelerate EV adoption across the utility's service area. The EVCP team is hiring a Project Manager to provide additional day-to-day support for the team. Note: this is considered a "desk job" and will not require any on-site activities.

• Coordinate with Program Managers to set up customer calls/meetings, follow up on outstanding project items, and schedule additional site visits
• Validate program data and partner with Program Managers/key stakeholders to gather updated project information
• Run ad-hoc reports and work with others on the EVCP team to streamline existing reporting processes
• Provide additional program support while Program Managers are on leave or vacation

• 3 or more years of program management experience or similar experience

• Strong communication skills ability to communicate complex processes to others via written or verbal communication
• Proven track record of critical thinking skills
• Ability to deal with ambiguity
• High level of organization / attention to detail

• Familiarity with Program Management a plus
• Experience with EVs or electrification highly encouraged
• Experience working with an investor-owned utility

• BS/BA Degree, or equivalent work experience
