Application Programmer- Jersey City, NJ- Contract - $68-73 Per HR

Seeking a skilled application programmer for a contract role in a technology transformation project within a financial setting. The position requires expertise in data integration and transformation tools, along with a strong foundation in programming and analytics. The role involves working onsite at one of our approved locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance analytics capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.
• Analyze and improve existing legacy systems.
• Document and communicate technical specifications and processes.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience with at least 3 years in a business or functional analysis role.
• Proficiency in SQL programming and familiarity with relational databases.
• Experience with Python or Java/.Net, with the ability to understand and interpret code.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth understanding of capital markets and associated regulations.
