Department: Critical Care Float Pool

Start Date: 11/23/2026

Shift: Days and Nights Available (7 AM – 7 PM / 7 PM – 7 AM). Shift will be decided during the interview.

Floating Requirements:

• Must be willing to float between CVICU, NICU, and PICU.
• Only RTO discussed during the interview will be pre-approved.

Vaccination Requirements:

• COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required.
• Flu vaccination is required from October through April.
• Flu exemption applications must be received and approved before starting.
• Candidates who are not vaccinated for flu or COVID-19 must sign the required declination and masking agreements and wear a mask throughout the respiratory virus season.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to promote patient health by providing professional nursing care appropriate to the patient’s age and condition, following evidence-based nursing practices, care plans, hospital goals, and regulatory standards.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in pediatric critical care.
• Level III or IV NICU experience preferred.
• Children’s hospital experience preferred.

Education Requirements:

• ADN, BSN, or Diploma in Nursing.

License & Certification Requirements:

• Current Arizona RN license, compact-state RN license with multistate privileges, or eligibility to obtain Arizona licensure before the start date.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced NRP certification.
