Are you the machinist who
- Sets up both CNC lathes and mills from print without hand-holding?
- Lives comfortably at ±0.001" and reads GD&T like a native language?
- Edits programs at the control (Fanuc, Haas, or similar) to protect quality and cycle time?
- Owns part quality from first article through final inspection?
If that sounds like you, JWC Machine and Fab in Mobile, AL wants to talk. This is a hands-on machinist position not an operator seat.

- Execute first-article and in-process inspections with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM (if applicable)
- Troubleshoot toolpath/program issues and make basic control edits

- Communicate proactively on job status, tooling needs, and quality matters
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and compliant work area
What success looks like
- First-article approval with minimal rework
