We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support day-to-day service operations. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, managing high-volume communication, and keeping order information accurate. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for inbound and outbound interactions while delivering prompt, detail-oriented assistance.
Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming customer calls effectively, providing timely support and clear resolutions to questions and concerns.
• Place outbound calls as needed to follow up on requests, confirm details, and maintain consistent communication with customers.
• Enter and update customer orders accurately in internal systems to ensure smooth processing and fulfillment.
• Respond to service inquiries by gathering information, clarifying needs, and guiding customers toward appropriate solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, order activity, and follow-up actions for reference and reporting purposes.
• Work across service channels to manage communication efficiently while meeting quality and response expectations.
• Previous experience in customer service, order entry, data entry, or administrative support preferred.
• Strong attention to detail when entering purchase orders, reviewing information, and maintaining customer records.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills to respond to customer inquiries by phone and email.
• Comfortable using computer systems, spreadsheets, and customer portals to process orders and update information.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams on order status, inventory, shipping details, and delivery updates.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food manufacturing, distribution, or a related environment preferred but not required.
