Structon is looking for a dependable installer with experience in both mechanical insulation and firestop. We need someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and can keep projects moving without constant supervision.
Our work takes us to different jobsites, so you must be comfortable traveling up to two hours to reach project locations.
What You’ll Do
- Install firestop materials, including fire caulking, putty pads, collars, and wrap strip.
- Install mechanical insulation on piping, ductwork, fittings, and equipment.
- Follow approved firestop systems, project specifications, and installation instructions.
- Coordinate with our team and other trades to complete work safely and on schedule.
- Keep work areas clean and communicate progress, material needs, and issues before they cause delays.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience in both firestopping and mechanical insulation.
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to assigned jobsites.
- Willingness to travel up to two hours for projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safe, quality work.
- Ability to perform physical installation work, including working from ladders and lifts.
