Position: Laser Operator
Pay: $24.00-$28.00/hr
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
Location: Byron Center, MI

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor laser cutting equipment
- Make machine adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
- Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions precisely
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Use calipers, micrometers, and tape measures for measurements
- Record production and scrap data in the ERP system
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot production issues and communicate effectively
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of Laser Operator experience preferred
- Strong blueprint and technical drawing skills
- Experience with precision measuring tools
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Dependable attendance and team-oriented attitude
- High school diploma or GED required
Skills
- CNC machine operation and troubleshooting
- Brake press operation (additional skill)
- Knowledge of laser cutting and blueprint reading
- Familiarity with ERP systems like Plex
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand or sit for extended periods
