Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Essex County.

About This Opportunity

This can be a great fit for a college student, educator, human-services professional, caregiver, or someone looking for meaningful part-time work. Assist a young individual with special needs, out in the community - going on walks, hiking, going out to eat etc.

Consistency matters: although the hours may be limited, the individual and family rely on the DSP to keep the agreed schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities out in the community.

• Provide COMMUNITY SUPPORT.

• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.

• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.

• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.

• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.

Qualifications

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.

• Dependable, reliable, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.

• experience preferred.

• Driving REQUIRED.

• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.

Schedule: Thursday or Friday and Saturday - 4 hours each
Pay: $18-$24/hr
Location: Cedar Grove NJ
Driving on shift: REQUIRED
