About the Opportunity
Join the manufacturing team of one of the country's leading multi-state cannabis operators. As a Production Technician, you'll batch, package and label cannabis products like edibles and tinctures, helping them reach patients and customers safely and on time. What You'll Do
- Batch products, including edibles and tinctures, following batching instructions and SOPs exactly
- Package and label products accurately while meeting daily quality and output goals
- Fulfill orders and keep accurate records of raw materials, packaged product and completed orders
- Complete batch records and waste-tracking documentation in line with SOPs
- Support physical inventory counts and move inventory between rooms as needed
- Keep your workspace clean, organized and compliant with biosecurity and sanitation standards
- Dispose of waste properly and track it according to state regulations
- Stay current on state cannabis regulations and finish all required training
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- Cannabis, food production, manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus but not required. We'll train you.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks
- Comfort working in a high-volume, assembly-line setting around machinery
- Basic math and measurement skills, including using a scale
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Reliability, flexibility and the drive to do well in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Standing or sitting for long periods
- Repetitive use of hands, wrists and forearms
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
