Prepare and perform all areas of classic auto body and paint work from metal reconditioning to top coat finishing. Seeking an experienced bodyman with at least 5 years relevant experience in the classic auto industry. Someone with the ability to perform but also the ability to teach and work as a team is a must.
Job responsibilities include:
-Metal surface prep and reconditioning
-Panel straightening and alignment
-Plastic filler work
-Primer work (polyester and urethane)
-Color (PPG)
-Clear coat and finishing (buff and polish)
-Paint touch up/color correction
-Color matching and mixing
-Maintaining a clean and organized work area
We have a great work-life balance here. Our hours are from 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri with the opportunity for overtime. Paid holidays after 90 days (4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years). Paid time off after 1 year.
