Employment Type: W2 Contract – 12 Months with the possibility of extensions
Pay Rate: $21.00-$23.00 per hour | Paid Weekly
Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Work Arrangement: On-site

Role Overview

BEPC Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Assembler to support our client's medical device manufacturing operations in Westfield, Indiana.

In this role, you will assemble, repair, and test precision medical devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related components. Working under close supervision, you will follow established manufacturing procedures and quality standards to help produce reliable, high-quality medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, and test medical devices and precision components according to established procedures.
• Handle small, delicate parts with accuracy and care.
• Follow manufacturing instructions, safety protocols, and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and ensure proper documentation and product traceability.
• Use basic computer systems and electronic data collection tools to record manufacturing activities.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns, equipment issues, or process deviations.
• Follow Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements.
• Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production priorities.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to perform repetitive, precision assembly tasks involving small components.
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter production information accurately.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site during the scheduled second shift.
• Willingness to follow all safety, quality, and cleanroom requirements.

Cleanroom Requirements:

This position requires compliance with strict cleanroom gowning and contamination-control procedures, including:

• Wearing required protective garments and following established gowning procedures.
• Avoiding clothing that sheds fibers, including fleece or other loose-fiber materials.
• Refraining from wearing nail polish, artificial nails, makeup, or scented products other than deodorant.
• Wearing closed-toe, closed-heel shoes with socks.
• Following applicable jewelry restrictions.
• Wearing clothing that appropriately covers the torso, arms, and legs.
• Maintaining personal cleanliness and following all contamination-prevention requirements.
