Steel Warehouse Associate

My client, a family-owned steel and welding supply business , with a rich 70 year history , is looking for a Steel Warehouse Associate to join the team. This role handles the day-to-day movement of steel product, from receiving through to loading it out for customers.
Responsibilities
- Pull, cut, and stage steel product to fill customer orders
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move material safely
- Load and unload delivery trucks
- Receive incoming inventory and verify against packing slips
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and warehouse organization
- Follow safety protocols when handling heavy steel stock
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse or material handling experience
- Forklift certification preferred
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on work in a warehouse setting
- Steel or metal industry experience
- Reliable and able to work as part of a small team
