Job Captain | Davis, CA (Hybrid)

Building Talent is working with an established architecture firm seeking a Job Captain for its Davis office.

This is a hands-on production lead role. You'll manage the Revit model and develop DD and CD sets, coordinate drawings with consultants, and handle site surveys, field measurements, and site visits. You'll also support construction administration, help track schedules, fees, and budgets, and guide junior staff while keeping production quality high.

Candidates should have:

• 5–8 years of professional architectural experience
• Advanced Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience producing design development and construction documents
• Experience coordinating with consultants and conducting site surveys
• Knowledge of detailing, materials, California building codes, and ADA requirements (preferred)
• Construction administration experience (preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• A degree in architecture (preferred)

This is a hybrid position based in Davis, with a flexible work schedule. Candidates must currently live in the Sacramento area and be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship.
