WHAT YOU'LL DOOperate lumber resizing saw equipment to cut lumber to specified lengths.
Measure and verify lumber dimensions according to production requirements.
Inspect materials for quality and accuracy.
Follow all equipment operating procedures and workplace safety guidelines.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of unnecessary hazards.
Work with the production team to maintain an efficient workflow.
Monitor materials and finished products to help minimize waste.
Meet production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Dependable individuals with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Attention to detail and basic measuring skills.
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
Willingness to learn equipment operation and production processes.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Previous saw operation, lumber yard, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn is what matters most!
Starting pay of $16.00 per hour.

Saw Operator Job SummaryWe are looking for a Resize Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will cutting boards to support our wood truss manufacturing department. You need to be able to read a tape measure and perform basic math to set stops and guides to the specified length truss webbing. While you operate the machine, it is important to look for any defects or issues. Applicants for this position should have at least previous saw experience, although we often have positions available that include on-the-job training for the right person.
