Experienced Registered Nurses are needed for a contract opportunity supporting a specialized state-operated behavioral healthcare facility in Big Spring, Texas. Psychiatric experience is preferred but not required, making this an excellent opportunity for RNs interested in expanding their experience within a behavioral healthcare setting.

This state-operated healthcare environment provides structured psychiatric and medical services to individuals requiring specialized inpatient care. Registered Nurses play an important role in assessing newly admitted patients, responding to psychiatric and medical emergencies, maintaining clinical documentation, and supporting patient safety while working within established regulatory and facility standards.
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse will provide patient care under the supervision of the Unit Nurse Manager. The position includes nursing assessments, emergency clinical response, electronic data entry, documentation, and compliance with facility and HHSC procedures.
Work Schedule
Shifts alternate according to staffing needs
Start days are available Monday–Friday
