Responsibilities
- Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology imaging exams, including routine X-rays and fluoroscopic studies, in a 24-hour department averaging about 150 exams per day.
- Conduct OR and fluoroscopy procedures (C-arm) and assist with interventional imaging as required; support inpatient and outpatient imaging.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning, proper shielding, and optimal exposure factors to deliver quality images with radiation safety in mind.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and other clinicians; communicate findings and ensure timely completion and documentation of imaging studies.
- Maintain imaging equipment, prepare rooms, manage supplies, and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience within Diagnostic Radiology
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must have OR and fluoroscopy experience
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient imaging within a 24-hour department
- Availability for 10-hour night shifts (four nights per week)
