JOB TITLE: INVENTORY CONTROLL & DELIVERY DRIVER
DEPARTMENT: SHIPPING
REPORTS TO: SHIPPING DEPARTMENT MANAGER
SHIFT: MONDAY-FRIDAY 7AM-3:30PM
HOURLY RATE: $15.25
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and materials to customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transport, sort, and stock materials while maintaining accurate inventory control.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Loads and unloads company vehicle after completing deliveries.
- Performs simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, filling fluids, and notifying manager when routine maintenance is required to keep vehicle running properly.
- Delivers goods to clients while Interacting with the customer in a professional manner.
- Collects required signatures for payment, proof of delivery, and gives receipts to customers and return all required documentation to appropriate company officials.
- Observe all traffic laws and posted speed limits.
- Receives deliveries from parcel and freight customers and verifies shipment information.
- Ability to complete cycle counts, use inventory control methods, inspect labels and barcodes.
- Ability to cross train and assist Shipping Department as needed.
- Required to train to use Syspro, the company inventory control system.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
